It is easy to see and track all of your HR needs using their intuitive dashboard. Plus, all of our 3rd party vendors are linked through this one system, so we can make all changes (pay, benefits, PTO, etc.) in the Zenefits dashboard and it automatically updates throughout all our outside vendors. We had some challenges in getting all of our health benefits set up and the communication during that time was not as prompt as it should have been. Our company has really benefited from using Zenefits, and the customer service has been pretty good over all.

Zenefits has grown rapidly over the last year, and these are symptoms that they are not handling that too well: * Enrollment did not include plans that our company had requested. * Fixes took so long that employees could not enroll prior to the open enrollment deadline. * Employees lost coverage for weeks, some of whom had very expensive consultations and procedures scheduled during that time. That's a pretty stressful thing for people, which is what Zenefits is aimed to reduce. * First payroll with Zenefits wasn't ready and required manual checks to be cut directly from our company.

I like that it's all accessible online and that it was relatively easy to set up. I don't know a ton about benefits, and there wasn't much information given about the type of coverage we have. Talk to someone who can explain your coverage and the sort of plan you have. The salespeople are selling the software and the technology. That doesn't give any sort of understanding of coverage.

It's very convenient and has very good customer service. I don't have too many complaints. They do a great job of handling questions and objections if you have an issue. It's perfect for big companies. They handle their payroll services really well, and it's a very simple process for both employees and the management that sets it up.

It's very easy to see what insurance plans I'm signed up for, as well as grabbing my insurance numbers right off the site. This makes it easy to give my information, even if I don't have the actual card on hand. When I first started working with them, it seemed that their customer support team wasn't big enough. That was about eight months ago, but when I had an issue last month (July 2014), they were very responsive, so it seems they have made some solid investment in CS. Don't worry about whether or not you understand competitors or have a ton of background in software. Just focus on whether or not it is easy and intuitive to use.

I love that everyone enters in their own information. I am a Sales Director and am responsible for onboarding new hires, training them, etc., but that also requires me to handle all their paperwork, benefits, etc., which I despise. With Zenefits, I can simply give them the URL, and they handle the rest! The platform functions well, but I think we've had some issues with getting personal attention when we've called in. I think that there is always room to make things more user-friendly, namely providing a surplus of information about what choices mean when selecting different benefits. It doesn't need to be on the front page, but at least a button where there is the option for more information would be nice. I think that with anything, you have to look at the cost vs value and timesaving. I think that when you look at it from these measures, it's a pretty clear no-brainer to use the platform.

I like how easy it is the access via a computer. You don't need to meet with insurance brokers. And, if I need to change any information, I can do it quickly. I don't like answering a lot of questions. Some times there is a lag in response. But besides that, there not much to complain about. Have your W2 forms and other paperwork on hand to answer questions quickly.
