Pros: This make it so simple to have on depository for all your information to be located. I never have to sure far for items needed because they are always in BBit Cons: The Board of Directors complain there are to many notices. I would like to be able to let them see everything but not have to have then receive the notices to meeting they do not come to.

“DGC Alberta District Council - Governance” Overall: The benefits I have noticed is there is one portal that you need to deal with anything related to your board and committees. Pros: For years we have had problems trying to keep everything related to the board and committees at the tip of our fingers. When taking on my new position with the ADC one of the first tasks I took on was trying to bring a stronger sense of governance. I looked and tried several different types of software. We choose this software because of its ease of setting up. Once you have this completed the biggest problem is getting your board and committees on program. Cons: The features I feel the software is lacking is tracking emails sent through the site to members.

“Makes Board Meeting Prep so much easier” Overall: We have a number of board members who travel and BoardBookit makes it easier for them to access meeting information wherever they are without having to take a binder with them. I just wish we had more board members who were frequent users. At the moment, I still have 75% of my board still requesting hard copies of board materials and it makes double work for me. Pros: BoardBookit is so user friendly and intuitive. So many features are automatic- I barely have to think, just click. Cons: Nothing. I just wish I had more members using it.

With our boards' adaptation, we have eliminated printing documents for meetings. Pros: BoardBookit provides an intuitive tool to organization governance documents, board and committee meetings. Voting and polling with ease! Cons: I hope as some point that reports will be expanded and that there will be a way to document and run reports on terms.
