TOTAL FAILURE TO INTEGRATE AND YET BILLED £2,800 ANYWAY!


Visualsoft did an excellent job of selling their affiliate marketing service to us – but then totally failed to deliver anything whatsoever. We were forced to pay an initial £2,800 before they would even start work – and we have seen nothing in return for it.

Specifically, we were unable to get past the basic first step of integrating our systems so as to be able to track affiliate sales.

As my web developer put it, “Their API and setup is terrible. It could take me a dozen hours or so to troubleshoot and fix.”

Having banged our head against a brick wall in this respect, they emailed us to say:

“Regarding the integration of our affiliate software into your platform, we have encountered challenges in implementing a viable solution. This has been primarily due to the bespoke nature of your platform and the limited technical resources available on your end.”

“Unfortunately, we have not made further progress on this vital integration. Given this ongoing challenge, we believe it is mutually beneficial to conclude our collaboration on this particular channel.”

They knew from the start that our website operated on a bespoke system – and that we had limited resources.

I spent an hour in a meeting with three of them, trying one solution after another – but to no avail. I put through numerous test orders, adhering precisely to their instructions. I even personally granted full access to my Google Workspace account – username and password – and they were still unable to make any progress.

At no point were they able to explain even what the problem is, let alone how it might be resolved.

I consequently contended that, having delivered precisely nothing, they were not in a position to claim any fees whatsoever from us – and I demanded a refund of the initial £2,800 paid.

They refused, saying they had “dedicated significant effort to resolving this issue”. They may well have done – but the bottom line is that they failed completely to resolve the issue and left us with nothing in return for our £2,800 other than wasted time and effort at our end.

I am very disappointed indeed – and have now referred the case to our solicitors for them to pursue legal action for the recovery of these monies.

I am sorry that it has come to this. It all seems so unnecessary to me. But this is where they have brought us. I am profoundly disappointed in Visualsoft.

In this day and age, where consumers and clients are more empowered than ever, with ready access to a broad range of review platforms, their attempting to retain our £2,800 would seem to me to be not just unlawful and unethical – but extremely ill-advised.

We are very pleased with the look and features of our website. Having looked at loads of website developers we found that Visualsoft offered the best service. We did see some cheaper options but did not like there portfolio’s and with a lot of features missing that Visualsoft include; we also like the fact we can add more features as we go on.

The design team are great as well full of creative ideas that help drive KJ Reptile Supplies, with new promo units and anything we would like adding to the site.

While the website is being built you are kept up to date with an e-mail each week telling you what has happened that week, what is required from yourself and what is going to happen the following week.
The Customer Service you get are second to none, normally answered the same day or next working day, in some cases I have had reply’s late at night. Any problems are quickly sorted and promptly. We are always greeted and feel welcome by the very friendly safe, we even talk to one of the directors them self, which is rarity.

If you are looking to upgrade/ get something added to the site the friendly team are there to help via the great ticket system they use. We love the way they do not push you into getting anything you don’t need and give you friendly helpfully advice.

Visualsoft also have a number of marketing ideas and concepts that we are sure to take advantage of soon, such as SEO, PPC etc.

We are also looking at using Visualsoft to integrate E-Bay and Amazon into KJ Reptile Supplies, at very affordable prices, along with this we would be looking at getting Visualsoft to design our Ebay store.

If you are looking for a new website/ e-commerce store look no further and send these guys a message, so much so that we have some future projects planned and would look no further then to Visualsoft.

While the website they have provided looks and works largely great. There was a huge number of issues that were very difficult to overcome. Once the final payment was made everything became extremely slow to process. Our website was giving out hundreds of pounds in free vouchers which proved that their testing is garbage.

Just make sure it's all been proven to you before you go live. 3 months later and I'm still chasing problems.

Really not happy! Had a site built and was misled and misinformed from the beginning. Ended up costing a lot more than was originally told had a lot of problems since and regret having it built. It works pretty decent but not amazing cost an absolute arm and leg for anything you want done to the site as you have basic control over your site because they've restricted how much you can actually do. All the internal stuff they will overcharge you for when you need anything doing at all. If they gave you 90% control and not 10% of your site you would be able to do a lot of the work in 2mins for nothing. Had many problems and they always have excuses and blame it on other things as opposed to taking responsibility. My site has been down several times now. No apology, no money knocked off the extremely high hosting costs. Nothing! I've been quoted a fraction of the price everywhere else and guaranteed better quality too. Also I said that I might find somewhere else to host my site and was met with if you leave us we put your site on a disk. Then they basically don’t care. They offer you no help thereafter. Absolutely disgusted. AVOID!
