I support a few different companies and a couple of them use EUKHOST. I was a little sceptical as I didn't set them up but the few times I've had to make contact I have to say, the technical or sale chat team are first class and know exactly what they are on about, much more technical than many other companies I use to support clients. Tonight Albie S took me through some upgrade options after a client had some issues and he knew exactly what the choices were and within 15 mins on-line chat we were done and dusted and not a bad price either. EUK arn't as cheap as some but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for and when things go wrong you need to know the company will be responsive and they have proved they are which is priceless for someone like me trying to support multiple companies. A for Albie S and the company as a whole, quite impressed. ;)

Useful to have someone to talk to who was patient. Albie was in the sales department and gave some advice, useful info and a discount considering i am a long standing customer. Have moved to a new VPS server which is bigger and better than i currently have.

One of the best I have seen. I am using two dedicated servers from them and they price is very affordable and with 10TB of data per month per server and with Raid 1 and SSD and 16GB ram and Windows Server 2016, it's just too good to be true. And support team is very good.

Worst company I have ever had the misfortune to know, I have purchased domains from this company for years. No issues. Asked them if they could host my website. Convinced me they could. Swapped to there server and completely killed my google ratings. Crashed my website for 3 days. There technical support could not solve any of the problems they caused.

If all you want is domain names. Great because they are cheap. Be warned do not use them for hosting. You will end up spending hours regretting it. Please believe me, I know.

Very poor. Set up a new server, live chat guy promised to expedite. Still took 3 hours. When I got server, windows was not activated. They said in support ticket they had 'problem' with activation and were trying to sort it. I was not willing to spend a week configuring and moving sites to a server that was not activated until I was sure it was working and was not going to stop working. 21 hours later, no response. Still not activated. Followed up in live chat. Guy promised to respond with update in 30 mins, I told him I wanted it activated in next 30 minutes, or refund as no good to me. One hour later, no response, no update, no activation. I live chatted again, guy cut me off when I asked for refund. Got another live chat operative, she said same thing - please wait, I am talking to some senior service guy. At this point, I have ZERO confidence these people know what they're doing, and really don't want to have anything with them so I ask them to refund. The live chat refused, and says they'll only start billing me when the server is fixed. I say that is not acceptable, I need a working server NOW, not at some unspecified point in the future when they can figure out their technical issues.

TLDR; paid money, got busted server, company refused to refund me, promised not to keep billing me until they get the server to work at some point in future

I normally don’t like given bad review to companies as day to day operation of the business can be challenging. But I have been in development for over 15 years and have develop numerous websites and host with so many providers, from reseller hosting to ordinary hosting with service provider. This company is the worst I have never seen. The support staff are unprofessional and they rarely know what to do. During my junior development career I work in application support. The key to any support is to understand the product you are supporting as well as company operational activities.

I registered 2 reseller hosting packages and 2 domains with them and wanted to transfer my existing customers from various providers to them because of cost and convenience. Before I buy the packages with them I went through extensive conversation with them through their support online chat. What I got from them was bunch of lies. They told me that they will apply discount while I was purchasing the packages. They encourage me to go through the process and they ask me to provide the Trans ID so that they can apply discount, which I did. Until when I finished I saw that I was charged the full amount. They then told me I can claim that later on, which there no was given path way to do this. As If that is not bad enough, they promised me that my domains will be life in 30 – 60 minutes. I have been on and off with them for 10 ½ hours only for them to come back and said oh you entered the wrong email address during registration. They ask me to send verification email to email address they provided to me through chat which I did. Further slapping me on my face with frustration they again requested that I have to provide an invoice address while I cannot even login into my account. I forwarded receipt sent to me by PayPal to them still they said they were not happy with that because they are looking for a number which they did not tell me were to find that. Then I call them directly. Only when I threaten to report them to trading standards for possible fraud investigation did they finally said to me is all ok we have verified it now without any explanation.

If all that was not bad enough, my servers are not running. Changing even my password was a nightmare. I have lost ½ of my customers for this because they believe I lied to them. Up to now no head way.

I am warning everyone to keep away from this company. The support staff are ill-informed about their services, lies and deceit are horrendous. Their down time is the worst I have never seen. Do not sell services that you cannot provide. They should be brought to book by trading standards. Absolute fraud.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience; your feedback is very much appreciated and I would like to the address your points below:

1. Re “They told me that they will apply discount while I was purchasing the packages...”When making a purchase and before taking payment an invoice is raised and displayed with an invoice reference number, once the invoice has been raised you can then choose your method of payment. The sales agents’ intention was that once the invoice was raised, to then apply the discount after which you could then pay the adjusted amount. In this instance when the invoice was raised you moved straight onto making payment before the invoice had been adjusted. I apologise if this process was not made clear by the agent, I have been in touch with our team to make sure this process is correctly relayed in the future.

2. Re: “Until when I finished I saw that I was charged the full amount…..” When paying by PayPal the total amount to be charged is displayed with a request asking if you wish to continue, at this stage we could still have adjusted the invoice for you as soon as we were made aware of the discrepancy however by proceeding the full amount would be charged.

3. Re: “They then told me I can claim that later on, which there no was given path way to do this.”... I agree this should have been made clear, we have our sales team available 24x7 by both live chat and ticket who would have been available to action this for you, we also have a customer services team available from 8am to 6 pm Mon - Fri who would have been available to do this for you.

4. Re: “they promised me that my domains will be life in 30 – 60 minutes”... This generally would be the case. For new domain registrations, we go through a verification process, this process sends an email to your address which contains a link allowing you to confirm the registration. In this instance the email address provided during registration was incorrect and thus the verification email was never received. Once we were made aware to of this issue we did take steps to correct the email address.

5. Re “They ask me to send verification email to email address they provided to me through chat which I did. Further slapping me on my face with frustration they again requested that I have to provide an invoice address while I cannot even login into my account.”.... I recognise that our authentication process can be a pain, our staff are trained to only accept specific data for verification, it is in no way done to frustrate clients but to ensure the integrity of client accounts. Please accept my apologies for this.

6. Re “If all that was not bad enough, my servers are not running.”... I understand all issues have now been resolved and all services are live

Fantastic Hosting Company

We have been using eUKhost for over 8 years with 2 dedicated servers. They have always provided first class and speedy service. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Server migration is as smooth as you could hope for.

We already have one server with eUKhost, but needed another. We checked online what servers they provided and decided what we needed. We chose a Linux VPS Professional, however due to the nature of use we required at least another dedicated IP address assigned to the server. So we clicked the 'online chat' facility and Stuart took the 'call'. The online chat facility is an absolute gem of technology. As a busy person in IT, I rarely have time to spend ages on the telephone, but this facility allows me to continue with other tasks at the same time. Stuart was polite and friendly and answered all our questions. Nothing was too difficult and when the question was a little outside of his scope, he queried the technical department and came back with answers for us. Since then we have had a few small teething issues getting everything set up and each time the support personnel (again on the online chat) were able to help us. A very good company who I have used for years and recommend to anyone requiring the services they deliver.

Have been hosting with them for about 2 yrs, and all have been fine .... today that all changed when they showed their true colours refusing to deliver the so called "Free" IP address that they advertise comes included in their SSL certificates. .... what a scam! with all the services and VPs's we have with them we are really shocked at their latest stunt .... well i suppose now would be a good time to start searching for a new service provider. We definitely do not want to invest any more time supporting a company with ethics like this.

eUKHost are brilliant, have used them for 4 years now, their support is 1st class, I always use the Chat system and no matter what time of day it is (even 3am in the morning) they have been responsive and solved issues within a few minutes. We have been a customer of eukHost for a number of years and have always found their support staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. However, their customer services and customer relations staff leave very much to be desired. This company takes unauthorised payments then tries to defend its actions. When questioned, they become very nasty and impose restrictions on accounts and have threatened to terminate our services 'Immediately' if we report the fraudulent transaction to the bank. Needless to say, I would not recommend these monkeys to my worst enemy.

They supported us in many critical issues and helped us to over come the issues in a quick time. we are really thankful for there service they have given us. They are the trust worthy organization we have ever seen. The support team they have was marvelous because they wont hesitate to supports even in late night hours. The ticket issues are cleared with in 24 hours and they will wait for our feed back to close the ticket. So I am very much thankful to Eukhost and I would recommend every one to go with Eukhost .

Our server had an issue with the Auto Discovery using up resources and slowing down our mail queues. Pollard sorted in on live chat within a few minutes (literally less than ten minutes) and it's all fine again. I can seriously recommend their live chat agents - I've been a client for almost six years and never had any support problems. Recommended.

I have been 8 years with Eukhost and have many sites hosted with them for good reasons: best and imemdiate customer support, especially on the technical side. I mean, the ability to solve serious issues just over a chat line is a must for any ISP... but how many can really do that? Eukhost is one of the few. I remember back then I choose Eukhost just because, after a simple comparison with othe ISPs, their list was longer and sounded more honest. I couldnt' expect their service to be 10 times worth that what they advertised. I have good words for anyone on the Staff, from Allen at the Sales dept. to Andrew at the Linux dept... just to name a few.

A change in ecommerce policies meant we had to find a reliable PCI DSS compliant host. We looked at a few and among others I spoke to Jennifer Kent who was very helpful. We talked through the options and she provided me with all the information I needed along with putting any fears to rest and provided me with an exceptional service. We started off on a shared host which in the end didn't fully meet our requirements so we have since moved onto a VPS. Again Jennifer was very helpful in answering all my questions and reassuring me the end customers wouldn't notice the switchover, which they didn't. The support has also been top notch with different memebers of the support team dealing with various issues and resolving them fully. All in all, a good team and an excellent service, and they don't cost a fortune either!

"They are simply the best" for no issue is a problem to them at all, they will get to the root of the problem and dig it out with amazing result. They always want to keep you happy regardless. After when they finish solving your problem they will call you back to make sure you are satisfied and happy. Tell me how many companies out there still do this follow up thing after service? You generally get what you pay for. This isn't the case with eUKhost however. If I have ever had any issues at all, customer support has always been very quick to respond in real-time chat. Any issues are quickly diagnosed and rectified. I had a problem with bandwidth usage on my site only today. Tamara S quickly rectified this and put me through to Aaron who upgraded my plan free of charge. Excellent staff and service for a very affordable price. Five stars

I would like to commend all their staff for their performance. Everyone I have dealt with has been outstanding! I wrote this to their consumer relations. I find them V good, v helpful. I am pretty up on servers and tech, but they do notice the small things as well as the big which can make a huge difference. 10/10 from me. I have had some truly Awful hosts that cost much more!

I will give you some back history, I develop games and military simulations. About 4 years ago I got pretty ill age 43 [non smoker/vegetarian etc] and had major heart problems together with other issues. I had a company at the time employing over 25 people working, as techs, designers, programmers, artists etc. I lost all of this and am now on a disability pension. Recently I decided to get back into business as I loved and still do designing games.

This was about 3 months ago, its taken that long for my health to improve enough for me to even consider getting back into things! Over the last 20 years designing games, I have had many hosts [as you can imagine!] Many for years and others who were so awful, it was a couple of months.

I had a terrible time with the US hosting company I was with before you. They had not the slightest conception of customer service. It took them 14 days instead of the 1 - 2 days to build the server and then more time as they messed the IP numbers up. CPanel techs found the issue in the end.

In the 17 years I have been using hosting companies, you are without doubt one of the best I have come across! Every time I had a problem, no matter big or small, tech, billing or just general, your staff have been amazing, always friendly, helpful polite and very easy to deal with. I love that they also [unlike the US hosts I have been with] have a sense of humour!

eUKHost are the best provider of web hosting in the UK by far. I have used a fair share of hosting companies in the UK and none compare to eUKHost. 1) for reliability and 2) for support. They have 24/7 live chat which is really great. Its so easy to get problems fixed with them. Although they don't have to, they try very hard to fix any issues I've had before with 3rd party software, script, wordpress etc. Their ticketing system is great as well. For migrations or more complex issues, you simply raise a ticket with them and within a couple of hours the issue is sorted. I use pingdom to record any downtime on my server and its basically non-existent - My average uptime for the whole year is 99.98% and they guarantee 99.95% so they are exceeded the promise for my VPS. Never go with a provider that offers unlimited disk space, there are so many restrictions to the service that you get because they oversell like made. Overall if you have a UK website, it most be hosted with eUKHost

I have been a happy euk customer for over 6 years now. I have number of VPS and Reseller accounts. First of all, you don't really need support that much as their system, servers, network is pretty well. But If you do need help with anything, support is just a click away via online chat. While all these guys and girls and very good. There is one which I have to mention; GARETH. This guy is the best expert on windows. Every time I need something or we are stuck with the usual PCI issues, it takes 2-3 min for him to do what is required and solve the issue. I can not thank enough to Gareth and the rest of the support team.

Great service for the last 6-7 years! I currently have 2 dedicated servers with them, couple of reseller accounts and previously started with just a shared hosting package. Live chat is instant and very very good. Used many other providers and for the UK they standout above all of the ones I have used and dealt with. One thing worth noting is that some people seem to not understand that website issues are NOT just caused by the hosting provider and it is the clients responsibility to resolve website side problems. Overall they have been more than helpful. Only two slip-ups in the past 6-7 years, and nothing major. Even getting a couple of free x-mas gifts from them this year! :). If you have a UK based website and looking for quick support (for hosting NOT your website problems - which are not theirs to solve even though they still do help as much as they can - and domains), need affordable dedicated or shared hosting services I recommend them. There are many hosting companies I do not recommend, which also rip you off. eUKhost have been nothing but a great hosting provider for me for years. What is miss-leading (and also annoys me) is people who do not know about hosting or web design leaving bad reviews based on a hosting company not just providing hosting but not doing website design development and optimizations for them as well! Hosting companies provide hosting ONLY, they are not your web developer and web designer. Hacked website? Chances are YOU did not secure your website and/or CMS correctly.

I only have a small shared hosting account with eUKhost but their support is exemplary. It has always been fast and responsive. I recently needed to install some forum software and there was an issue with some library compatibility with the new software. When it became apparent what the problem was they quickly moved me to a new server with the necessary libraries and made sure that everything was working correctly. At all times the support was responsive and constructive, resolving the issue very quickly.

I've been using Eukhost for several years now. They are so much better than any I've used before (I've used many). The assistants on live chat are always helpful, & problems are always resolved. Recently they spent a huge amount of time over several days helping me sort out a domain name issue (which was not their fault). Admin tools and controls are about what you'd expect, and better than many others (I don't think I've ever used any that would warrant 5 stars). In the past I've paid a lot more for very poor hosting and dealt with some outright charlatans. Happy to be using Eukhost.

We've been using services of this company for almost 1.5 years and to say the truth, this is the best investment we did in developing our business! We tried 6 other hosting companies before we found eUKhost and everywhere was faced with different problems. The main distinctive feature is SUPER Support Team! First the support is great specially the billing department. As many know whmcs my some times interrupt with paypal IPN and in most companies you must ticket your transaction ID and wait at least 24 hours for clear the invoice but here just solved in a less than a minute :D. I've been with EUKHOST for over 5 years now and I would recommend these guys to anybody who is looking for good reliable 24/7 hosting.

Having spent wasted time with other hosting companies that fail to deliver I've had a few cheap hosting who have decided to quit not inform me, then have angry clients chasing me, but since moving to EUKHOST I've only had a handful of issues that have been resolved within minutes while using their chat system, this include the early hours or late at night.

Every person working for EUKHOST I'™ve spoken to via telephone, live chat or email have been very professional on every level.

I moved to another hosting provider from EUKHOST in late 2011 after their terrible outsourced IT Support in India. I had been with EUKHOST for a number of years but always I would have to chase their support team via ticket or livechat. Dont get me wrong livechat was good but painfully slow and they would always transfer you. Their reseller features were poor and their end user support was not what it said on the tin! Services would always stop on the server I was on. Sometimes I would wait over 12-24 hours for a ticket reply! Not good!

Customer service has been really mixed with them letting us down at critical points. Their hosting has been fine for the majority however when we have come to upgrade our services or amend services e.g. new server, moving server, closing old hosting packages down, this has been where the customer support has let us down. Issues such as forgetting to move across domain name registrations, moving account info, not setting up name servers, security holes (and blaming us) have really taken away that seamless transfer (especially when it's all with the same hosting company eukhost!). On the other hand it's hardly the most expensive hosting service and with anything, you get what you pay for. Don't be put off by my review but instead don't rely on their customer support, double check, triple check everything the customer support are doing for you. There's some great customer service representatives their but some really rubbish ones too.

All the staff of eUKhost have been very helpful during chat, particularly Jason T and Alec who did a miraculous job on page caching and compression requirement of our server (Morteza and I). Adam Smith was very helpful too and served me with patience when I wanted a domain to be registered for me.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the product. I started with a basic package, having moved form a US host partly because they did not support MS Visual Studio. I have not noticed any downtime and speed is also very good, so no complaints about the product. I have had a few technical issues and generally, the online technical support could be better, but they do get there in the end. I am now in the process of migrating to a larger package and I had technical problems. Two tech agents failed to solve the problem, but Shawn in billing spotted the issue and solved it in minutes. So, 100% for the product, but not quite 100% for Customer service. Online chat I find the best way to ask for support

Our company has been a customer of EUKHOST for a good few years now. I was originally with a different provider, but then needed my own control, and I have to say EUKHOST have been good. There have been a few issues here and there, mainly around late 2011 the support became quite slow which was frustrating. But, I can see they turned the corner, got more staff, and now the support chat is quick which is exactly what I need. There are a few people worth mentioning, Adam Smith, Kate W, Gareth M, Stephen S, and others.

After being greatly disappointed with another hosting company, EUKHost have been brilliant. I couldn't ask for more. Their support is better than any other host I've come across before too in terms of billing (especially when dealing with Adam Smith) and also technical support - they go out of their way to help. We used to use eUKHost who were pretty good until early 2011 when their support turned to mush. Uptime was poor and tech support caused more problems than they resolved. When you ask them to release a domain name they insist on asking you why instead of just doing it. They transferred us to another server without telling us and in doing so took all of our 50 sites offline. The majority we restored within about 12 hours but half a dozen or so were offline for over 24 hours and, even after they were (badly) restored there were still ongoing issues. In total we spent about 30 hours getting the sites back up from the mistakes caused by eUKHost. We sent an invoice to them for the time we had to spend resolving problems caused by then - their reply? They gave us 24 hours to move all our sites to a new host because we 'had threatened them'. What a joke!

At the end of last year (Oct 2011) we moved every one of our sites to a different provider who have been a billion times better than eUKHost. Be warned - eUKHost's prices may be reasonable but their support and technical ability is sorely lacking.

I have used quite a few hosting providers over the years but eUKhost are by far the best. They are so helpful and go above beyond to fix your problems. Their live chat service is perfect and I have spoken with both account managers and technical people and received brilliant responses each and every time. So many hosting providers just say 'you need to talk to your webmaster' but not these guys, they are hands on and will do everything they can to get you up and running again, even if it is your own dodgy codes that caused the issue. I highly recommend eUKhost for their service alone. The prices are good too.

I have used eUKhost now since 2008 for my personal hosting. I have always had excellent service and whenever (not too often!) I have an issue the live chat staff are always efficient, courteous and able to deal with my request in a professional manner - unlike a different provider whose awful service I have to endure at work. As a, mainly, cPanel shared hosting user I only face difficulties with the lack of flexibility. I know it is shared hosting but I am not sure there is room to improve the service. I had a windows 2003 VPS with them for a few years when it came to getting a 2008 VPS available so I could upgrade. They were awesomely helpful. The service is reliable and low cost, technical/billing help is just a queue-less livechat away, brilliant. I wanted to bump up the memory on my VPS, for a very reasonable extra cost and I got the resources increased.

I started off hosting online games about 5 months ago and since then I have had numerous encounters with my VPS crashing or simply being terminated.

However, since I purchased my ENlight I've had absolutely no problems with it, what more is I can pay as I go! Some months this is saving me money some months it isn't, but anyone can understand that you would rather have a Secure VPS than a VPS that will crash. For this, I don't mind loosing out on the odd couple of pound. Thanks eUKhost for this great service.

Dont do facebook so I couldn't log in
Their service is the very best of ANY company that I deal with. Tell you what, they are so good I would pay even more for the service if I had too. I have never ever had a response for help come back and say, sorry we don't cover that.

Normally, when I ask how to do something, within 30 minutes I don't have the instructions, I have reply saying all done for you - at no extra cost!

I have been building websites (and learning during the way) for the past 7-8 years now. I have been able to use and experience a number of hosting companies from big names to the slightly smaller ones, and so far eUKhost has been the best. 24/7 Live chat support is awesome and they are always helpful and go further than most companies to solve any problems - they deserve a pay rise ;). You just can't beat having 24/7 live chat support.

The services are great value for money and after purchasing a package they are always quick at getting you up and running. Even when you need something cancelled they do it. No messing about - which to me means they value you as a customer and not a greedy company who stick you with 30 day cancel periods (and there are plenty of them about). If you want a good service, 24/7 support and be up and running quickly. eUKhost are the guys to go to. A big thank you to eUKhost. :)

I have to say after working with Alvin at EUKHOST it makes dealing with a server company very pleasant and easy work. Alvin looked after us from day 1 , after reviewing several different server companies quotes EUKHOST came out the best value for money and for a UK Server. We recieve fast support and have Alvin only a click of a button away to talk too, He is a great Account Manager and really goes that extra mile to look after us. I would certainly recommend EUKHOST after this expierince. Server Up times have been excellent with no noticable Downtime. The Sites are Faster and on the rare occasion we need support , problems are corrected very quickly. I really like the personal touch with our Account Manager Alvin its great peace of mind and its much better that previous hosts who have 1 support telephone number and their is no real customer relationship. We also have Thomas to thank who is another great asset to EUKHOST and very knowledgeable about Linux Platforms. Thank you EUKHOST.
