Be VERY wary getting into any type of contract with Cloud Direct - in 2010 I signed a contract that tied me into 1 year service with a 90 day cancellation - in 2012 I was contemplating leaving as had found a cheaper comparable service, however Nathan, their sales guy did a good job convincing me to stay and they would review prices etc - I agreed to try for the short term and he assured me if I still wanted to leave I was free to whenever I wanted - they then tried to automatically activate a fresh 12 month contract! I called Nathan at the time who got this stopped and assured me again that I could leave whenever I wanted with no penalties and no long cancellation period - the prices did reduce with his new structure but over the years have been creeping back up - I have now found a far more cheaper choice on the market now so have decided to cancel Cloud Direct - this has been very difficult. At first emails were just ignored. Now they are insisting on me paying 90 days upfront, even though I pay in arrears for any service I have used and a single backup hasn't been made since the start of June. I have been a loyal customer of this company for nearly a decade and this is how they treat a good customer. Appalling customer service. Be very careful what you get yourself into!!!
