Switched to ASVhost from the other host. Night and day. ASVhost has people who will help you without 5 minute delays between questions and redirects to admins who will then "email you", which results in an endless loop of back and forth without resolution. Worth every additional penny for me. I have one main website and then a few other subdomains, with multiple FTP accounts for other users to post things (homework in my case, I'm a teacher). They walked me through these intricacies step by step.
