What is The Winemaker's Database, Inc.?
Founded in 1983, The Winemaker's Database celebrated its 31st anniversary harvest with the 2015 vintage. Since the introduction of WMDB for Windows in 1995, over 20 modules have been developed for our standard software package. Our programs are available as single-site, enterprise and customized versions, all of which can be integrated with ERP, financial or other enterprise applications as well as tank temperature control systems, analytical instrumentation, weigh stations and various bar coding equipment. Currently installed on four continents, The Winemaker's Database supports wineries ranging in size from 1000 cases to multinationals with tens of millions of cases annually. The Winemaker's Database includes all of the powerful tools necessary for the successful management, control and execution of winery operations. Our modular software suite is designed and programmed specifically for the wine industry by wine industry professionals. Consistent with their pursuit of excellence in winemaking, our clients have selected The Winemaker's Database for its flexibility, user friendliness and cost effectiveness. We now offer Software as a Service which allows you to access the database from anywhere with an internet connection using your PC, Mac, iPad or iPhone!

The first week with WMDB was the smoothest software onboarding I can remember sitting through. Their team walked my cellar crew through the key modules in plain language, no jargon, no assumption that everyone had used winery-specific software before. We were logging tank data and running basic production reports by day three. Genuinely impressive setup support.
Three-plus years later, that early foundation still holds. The modular structure meant we added crush tracking and lab modules gradually, without disrupting daily work. If you manage mid-size production and dread onboarding new platforms, this one earns real trust from the start.
