Senya is UK-based company with offices in South Africa and Canada. Our key focus is on helping organisations around the world solve complex data challenges, particularly in the fields of data cataloguing, data mapping and data discovery in support of regulatory and governance initiatives such as GDPR, Solvency II, IFRS and others.

We enjoy an established and trusted relationship with our clients and work in an advisory and innovative capacity in our consultancy engagements. Data Pipeline Workbench, a solution we use to support our engagements, is a key ingredient to our work.

Using our own cloud-based solution to support projects, a typical engagement will be managed both on-site and remotely, the bulk of the work being performed off-site with regular on-site visits. Our work is augmented by excellent off-shore partners based both in South Africa/Europe to provide a broader range of technical data services when necessary.

Some examples of our work:
o Delivering Data discovery and mapping strategies and services in support of multiple projects including Solvency II, strategic global BI for Risk Exposure, Claims Analytics with the goal of standardising data using the IBM Insurance Industry Models. Data mapping performed at a Business Term, Logical (BDM) and Physical model (AWM) level.

o Developing Data Warehousing strategies, testing and supporting them through Proof of Concept implementations.

o Designing data-interchange interfaces for strategic global BI for Risk Exposure and Claims Analytics to support on-boarding data from global business units.

o Pioneering models for structuring Claims Data and methods to more easily on-board data from multiple global sources, and creating the contextual business requirements interaction of large implementations.

o Curating data in preparation for data on-boarding into a Data Lake.

o Managing GDPR metadata classification and on-boarding to IBMs IGC - supporting design efforts to ingest GDPR data collected from multiple global data sources into a central repoitory in IGC, using IBMs Datastage.

o Advice and support on tool usage and support for data governance e.g. use of IBMs IGC, IDA from IBM and Sparx EA.
