With this system setup we do not need to have a receptionist sit up front and assist with contacting employees when a visitor has arrived. Proxyclick does it for us. What I like best about Proxyclick is that I no longer waste time trying to see if visitors checked in, read their horrible hand writing,or try to remember what day they came in since they didn't fill in the date. Little things like that use to make my day very frustrating. Now even if I am not at the office, I know who has visited and it also keeps the info if the visitor would like to not put it in next time they visit.
