Two and a half years — no small thing to give,
Above the average, a loyalty few achieve.
Yet here I stand, a customer no more,
Not chased away by signal, speed, or score.

You didn’t lose me to a dropped connection,
You lost me to a policy defection.
A billing glitch I sorted all myself,
Found dusty charges sitting on your shelf.
Ten pounds a month in silence, just withdrawn,
No flag, no letter sent — simply gone.
When I called up, the answer was prepared:
“Standard rate.” Two words. As if you never cared.

I offered you a deal, a fair exchange:
Two years signed up for what you’d rearrange.

New revenue secured, retention neat,
But your swift "no" just handed us defeat.
IDNet once stood for doing the right thing,
Not letting loyal customers just burn and sting.

Now I face the fallout of your choice:
Reconfiguring switches, finding a new voice
For Layer 3 and IPv4 anew,
Public services down an hour or two.
I would have stayed. I wanted to. I tried.
Instead, I propagate to a new side.

The product? Fine. The service? Mostly sound.

The decision-making? That’s where it unwound.

One lost customer won’t break your year,
But multiply that "no," it costs you dear.
You looked at what you held, and what you’d lose,
And somehow still decided I wasn't worth the choose.
