What is Fast Hosting Direct?
We use only Dell servers in our web hosting platform, utilising state-of-the-art technology we have built a web hosting platform that is second to none. Our platform is designed in such a way that if any server fails another server automatically and without delay takes over that servers workload. For example if one of our mail servers were to break down, another server would automatically come online, with all the correct configuration and take over the work of the failed server. In this period no email would be lost. As well as this, all data is stored in two large network disk arrays, data is automatically synchronised between the arrays so that in the event of an array failing the remaining array continues to serve data to the servers with no downtime. Strong Data Backup Our network arrays operate RAID, a way of configuring a system so a disk can fail with no impact to data. As explained above we also operate our network arrays in mirrored pairs so a whole array can fail with no impact. Each array is also backed up each night to a separate backup cluster which is then written to tape and stored offsite. I have been with them as a reseller for 11 years. They provide a service with high uptime, full featured apache server account and for a very competitive price. Support has always been excellent at any time of day and day of the week- going beyond their strict terms of service to advise. I have never had a glitch with billing or renewals as other reviews seem to have had.

Avoid at all costs, because if you use these it will cost more in the long run. 2 domains paid renewals paid for in feb18 now showing suspended, no reply to tickets and had the following back from the Complaince Team @ PublicDomainRegistry.com "The domain name 'masseycoldbeckengineering.co.uk' had indeed expired on 2018-03-01 and was registered through the reseller - Fast Hosting Direct. I understand that you had paid for the renewal charges to the reseller however, the renewal was pending due to insufficient funds in the reseller's account." Can you put a cost on 3 days of lost emails to your company? I know it will cost alot more than the renewal fees paid. if I could rate 0 star i would

Customer service is simply the best. Held a hosting accounts with Fast hosting for almost 7 years now. Their customer service is second to none. Even when a problem with one of our websites is nothing to do with them they've helped me on so many occasions to find a solution. In 7 years I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a reply to a support ticket and I'm not talking 9 - 5 hours either. I've had replies back in minutes at like midnight on a Sunday.
