Earnings are not updated accurately as well as when you chat with them about it they have no clue as to what they are doing. This app is absolutely infuriating. It worked okay for a while, but as soon as COVID happened there were glitches left and right. I was employed and using the app for 3 months. All of a sudden my account switched to unemployed. I couldn't access money. They never explained to me what the issue was with my account or how long to expect it would be before it's resolved. I've received no information on what is actually going on, what the problem is, how it happened, and how and when it will be fixed. There's no information or clarity and I'm having to reach out via chat about this issue daily and have the same exact conversation with a different support person. 6 days in a row. Not kidding. It's incredibly frustrating. I've been using this app for 3 months now and submitted my work information in March. I have been submitting pay stubs and biweekly deposits and debits every other week since I started. They had all the info they needed. I've been a customer for a long time (previously for a year with a different company) and I've never had an issue like this but it is terribly frustrating. The lack of specifics and outreach is difficult to understand. Please let me know when I can expect this to be fixed. The customer service was atrocious. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I honestly thought they had been hacked or taken over by scam artists, that's how bad it was. I would never recommend this app and will never use this app again. It has been a truly horrible experience. DO NOT USE this app if you can avoid it.

I am sure any hard working and reputable attorney would find various consumer protection violations made by Earnin. It does not take long to see this is a very questionable company. This company is NOT clear how they operate. In my opinion, this company serves like a Money Laundry for cartels. Looking into Earnin's business practices and how they operate would be an excellent project for a good law firm.

I was done with this app until the pandemic hit and they made the process extra hard I went to form 1k on earnings to just being able to get 50. This is a way to enslave you to their app. They give you a max of up to $500. Then you find you're dependent on getting that money back, costing you what ever you tip them. When the pandemic happened, and we had to work from home, they only allowed people to pull $200. I was in the process of "weaning" off these guys by cashing out $50 less each week. Next week, I'm down to $50, then never again. It's a waste of money and there's other options. But you don't want to be dependent on a technology company for a payday type loan. Learning to budget isn't a bad thing.

Beware teachers! I am teacher and am on salary and get paid 12 months out of the year. I had my first issue last summer when I needed to cash out and could not get get earnings added because I was not driving to campus. When I contacted Earnin they basically said sorry they could not do anything for me. Then a few months ago my cash out max dropped for no reason. They never had an issue debiting money and my account t was always in good standing but cut my cash out max in half. Then now that the entire country’s education system has transferred to school from home and I no longer drive to campus I am back where I was last summer. Teachers are under contract and get paid every month of the year and I am direct deposit so once our job is verified our earnings should go in regardless of wether we go to campus or not. Teachers don’t bother because Earnin will not be helpful when they need you and is definitely not there to help the public during the Virus quarantine! I will never use again!

Bank with a credit union, pull out a "Salary Advance Loan (aka SALO) when money is tight. Way cheaper and what you pull out is reimbursed back to YOU and placed in a SALO savings account to earn INTEREST for YOU!!!! Works just like earnin but with benefits for YOU!!! The wait time for response has gotten completely out of hand. They don't have understanding people making the policies and procedures. They worried about protecting their business when their business was supposed to be helping the community. Now here it is the WORLD is facing some of the most devastating times ever and they decide to change the policy on March 26, 2020. I would not ever recommend nor do business with this company ever again. I will also continue to voice my concern, disgust and disappoint regarding this companies antics during this time. I am just appalled!
