Previously, our company only used catch-all software that was designed to handle every industry. I never knew that the same type of software is out there for the tree-care industry. Making the switch was great, as having software specific to the tree-care niche gives us access to tools we didn't previously have. Things like fleet management and HR issues are obviously specific to the tree-care industry, so having software that's specific to those issues allows us to be so much more efficient. Issues can be handled right in the app, and the fleet management module is particularly useful compared to our previous software. As with any new technology, there's a learning period that you have to go through to truly become comfortable with the software. I used my old software for many years, so at first I was hesitant to switch. But ArboStar is just better suited for the tree-care industry than the catch-all software our business used, so I'm glad I took the time to learn a new system. Am very pleased with this software and have no plans to go back. Everything is divided into modules, and each module is a gem in its one right. I haven't poked around too much outside of what my current role at my business demands, but the modules I've personally used have all been very easy to understand and incredibly efficient.

The entire platform has been really enjoyable to work with. It's just so much easier than what I'm used to. I'm still getting the hang of things, but as far as my job is concerned, it makes it a whole lot simpler. This app makes it a breeze to send messages to potential and current clients. No more messing with calendars and schedules trying to figure out when to send messages to which customer. Everything can be automated to send my texts and emails to whom I want, when I want. Makes my life a whole lot easier, and that's a pro in my book! It also allows my customers to communicate back to ME in a very easy way. It has an intuitive ticket system that allows me to see all potential issues, and respond to them in the order they came in. No current issues. I did have one bug involving the ticket resolution service, but I brought it up to ArboStar and it was fixed within 24 hours.

The learning curve has been challenging but engaging, as there are so many features to work with. The features all make life easier though, so even if they take a bit of time to initially learn, they more than make up for it in the long run. I personally would never go back to my old way of doing things. The integration is just great with ArboStar, and they're apparently adding more features as people request them, so that's a big plus too. I love the auto-estimate feature. It learns what types of estimates you have made in the past, and auto-suggest an estimate that you can tweek if you find it too high or too low. This has taken a lot of the guesswork out of the situation, as often the estimate is dead-on. The pipeline from initial estimate to work orders is also very efficient. Once I confirm an estimate, I can send it right over in the app and it just moves down through the system. It's a really effortless interface and makes things easy. I suppose the only con would be if you wanted to use this app for a different field. It is specifically designed for the arborist niche, so make sure you keep that in mind. My friend runs a painting company, and while I wish I could suggest this to him, it just is too specific to the tree care industry. But if you deal with trees, this is the app you want!

This app has been a huge time-save for me. Everything in the app is streamlined and easy to use. As far as apps go, this one is definitely on the cleaner side of things. Everything is logically placed and easy to find, which makes my job that much easier. I definitely wouldn't want to go back to the old way of doing things. Incredibly easy to use, feature-rich, and works great on both my PC and my iPhone. The built in GPS features are second to none, and make the actual work so much more accurate. You can literally mark individual trees on the app, eliminating any confusion when it comes to getting the work done. As easy as this app is to get used to, there are so many features and report options that it can definitely seem overwhelming at first. What I did was just tackle each part piece by piece, getting to know each feature before moving onto the next. But if you just tried to dive in and started tapping around wildly, you might find yourself in over your head. Make sure to follow the instructions and take some notes if you have trouble with feature-rich apps.

We had always had a hard time managing our fieldworkersβ schedules, keeping track of customers, and sending out invoices. Now that we're using ArboStar, all that has changed. Our workflow is much more organized and we're seeing an increase in income. We are able to manage a lot more details now and we're able to focus on providing excellent customer service and actually running our business instead of being worried about constantly falling behind.ArboStar helps automate a lot of repetitive tasks in the business process and there's no more double entry since it syncs with Quickbooks! Honestly, it's a tool that every arborist business should use. If you own a tree care company and want to make your life a heck of a lot easier, give it a try.

I'm really glad our company made the switch. Initially, I didn't want to, as I know QuickBooks and it's what I've used for over a decade now. But as this software is tailored specifically to the tree care industry, it really is superior for our uses. Better than QuickBooks. For any people in accounting out there, that's basically all I need to say! This app makes everything so much more streamlined: invoicing, payments, record-keeping, you name it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I was asked to switch to this app, but after the first week I was sold.. Nothing to really complain about. Sometimes I get a bit confused with where certain features are located, but I can refer to the documentation to sort that out. I also have only been using the software for a few months now, and the more I use it, the less confused I get, which is always a good sign!

I've been using ArboStar for about a month now, and am so far very impressed with what I've seen so far. It makes my job so much easier β it allows me to take down customer information into as many cells as needed, and automatically create estimates, work orders, and invoices. There haven't been any hiccups in the process at all, and any time I don't know how to use a particular feature, I can reach out to ArboStar and get a prompt and helpful answer. Very streamlined, which in the customer service world, is absolutely everything. Instead of having to juggle multiple apps while I'm on a call with a client, I can simply let one app do all of the work. Honestly, I wish the company I work for had started using software like this when I first joined the team. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to getting the most out of the app. I personally started off slow and used the features that made sense to me, and incorporated new ones into my work process as I understood them. Just don't expect to understand everything the app offers on day one. It took me some tinkering around to really get used to everything.

Arbostar is a seamless and intuitive tool. I like it that I have everything organized and easily accessible in one place. Everything from managing customer communication, estimating, scheduling, and management is included. Both office staff and field crew use it and love the app as it has made our daily tasks easier and more organized. We use the mobile app along with web software. With that said, we now visit our potential clients and provide instant estimates. We can make changes on the spot making the process faster. It has enabled us to close more deals. We are satisfied with the system and would advise it to other tree care companies.

ArboStar has definitely changed the way my business runs, for the better. I'm a traditional guy, and while technology is part of my job, I always like to be very careful before I add the latest trends to my workflow. But ArboStar has been incredibly helpful in allowing me to save a ton of time by taking care of the more monotonous tasks I usually have to do manually. I have no plans to go back to the old way of doing things, that's for sure. ArboStar has a lot of ways that it can automate my daily tasks. This alone for me has been a game changer. I no longer have to send out each individual email and sms message to my clients, I no longer have to remember which invoices still need to be sent, and which clients I haven't spoken to in a while. Everything is done within the app and so much can be set up automatically. The app is also surprisingly easy to learn. Like I said, I'm more old-school in my approach, so I thought there might be a steep learning curve, but honestly within the first week of using the app I was already getting the hang of it. And I'd imagine someone even more tech-savvy than me could get into the swing of things even faster. I really don't have anything to complain about. I'm wondering if there are more features that I don't even know exist, because I feel like I'm constantly discovering more that this app can do. Maybe I could do with some big documentation that can help to explain the potential of every feature.

Before ArboStar we were still using paper invoices. We really wanted to go paperless and this really helped! Before ArboStar, we'd have to tell customers they'd need to call the office to pay with their card. We're a small family company so sometimes they were stuck waiting until I was available to process it for them. Now all that can happen online without me having to be there to do it. It was great that our estimators were able to input all the necessary details to build up the invoice at the job site. The GPS and Live map features are also great. They let us know where our field team was at all times and if they were still running on schedule so we could call customers if we needed to inform them of any delays. I found it very easy to use, but some of our less tech savvy team members struggled a bit at first.
