We've been using Kickboard for just over a year now and it's made a genuine difference to how we track and respond to student behaviour across the whole school. The ability to log behavioural data in real time and pull up trends for individual pupils has been particularly useful during staff meetings and parent conversations β we're no longer relying on memory or scattered paper logs. The 360 feedback element has helped our senior leadership team get a much clearer picture of how different year groups and staff are experiencing our school culture framework, and it's prompted some really productive coaching conversations.
That said, there is a learning curve. Getting all staff confident with the platform took longer than we anticipated, and a handful of colleagues still find the interface a bit cluttered when they're trying to quickly log something between lessons. The mobile experience could also be smoother β a few teachers have found it frustrating on smaller screens.
Customer support has generally been responsive and the onboarding resources are solid, though some of the training materials feel a touch American-centric and don't always map neatly onto how UK schools are structured or what our terminology tends to be. A bit more localisation would go a long way.
Overall, it's a well-thought-out platform that genuinely supports a positive behaviour culture when staff buy into it. I'd recommend it to any school leadership team willing to invest time in the rollout.
