The supplier rules feature is what keeps me coming back every single day. I photograph a receipt, and within seconds Dext has already matched it to the right supplier, applied the correct expense category, and pushed everything clean into my accounting software. No manual entry. No second-guessing. About a year in, I've built up maybe 60 or 70 custom rules, and the time that saves me each month is genuinely hard to overstate. The rule-building itself is intuitive too. You can get granular, setting conditions based on supplier name, amount range, or currency, and once it's set, it just runs quietly in the background.
For a solo operator juggling a dozen client files, that kind of automation isn't a nice-to-have. It's the whole point. My only real gripe is that occasionally a new supplier slips past the auto-recognition and I have to nudge it manually, but that's minor. Customer support has been responsive the two times I've needed them. Solid product.
