The pricing model is what I want to talk about, because it's the first thing I had to justify to three different clients in my first week setting this up. Sage HR charges per employee per month, which sounds obvious until you're managing headcount across five client accounts and doing the math constantly. Honestly? It came out cleaner than I expected. The per-module add-on structure lets me scope each client's package to what they actually need rather than paying for a full suite nobody will touch. That flexibility matters a lot when you're billing clients on tight retainers. Support has been genuinely responsive for a product I've only been using about two months.
The one real frustration: invoicing and billing visibility inside the admin panel feels underdeveloped. I had to email their team to reconcile charges across multiple client setups because the dashboard doesn't surface that clearly. For a consultant juggling multiple accounts, that's friction I shouldn't have. Fix that, and this becomes very easy to recommend.
