Pros: The speed of development for complex business applications : start an e-commerce with complex business rules in less time and easier to maintain source code in the long term. Cons: EntityConfigBundle/EntityExtendBundle tooling is incomplete today, developing new extended entities means importing 100s times the DB a day. Having debug tools to manipulate or view what is wrong (eg. in the debug bar) would help a lot.
