I have used live agent in both capacities as a customer, and as a way to communicate with our customers through work. It is very helpful from a consumer standpoint to have live help and also the ability leave messages for a reply at a later time after hours. From a perspective of using it for our company it has proven to be a very valued resource to keep up the lines of communication with our customers and their questions/concerns. I love that it allows us to archive the questions/responses and search for them later if the need arises.
