I am a CPA. My office staff is myself and a part-time data entry/administrative person. 10to8 is simple to use, It is easy, sort of, to set up. It integrates well with g-mail. It is easy for clients to set appointments without e-mail exchanges ("how about this day/time") and telephone calls ("are you available next Tuesday? No, then how about Wednesday?") comparing calendars. This allows for more productive time in the office. I just send an e-mail to a client who wants to make an appointment. The link in the e-mail brings them to a website where they have a choice of telephone appointment (15, 30 or 60 minutes) or office appointment (30, 60 or 90 minutes). (I established the time parameters in the setup.) They click on their choice, view my calendar in 10to8, pick their appointment date/time and I get an e-mail linking me to my 10to8 calendar. I can then confirm, reject or adjust the appointment date/time. The client gets an e-mail confirmation immediately and reminders (which I established in the setup) days/hours before the appointment. It avoids administrative time of following up with reminder e-mails or telephone calls. And if a client wants to cancel, they can reply to the reminder, it sends me an e-mail, I can adjust my calendar and I can change my plans for the allotted time.
