I am a sole trader Chartered Accountant and I have been using a Cloud4 hosted desktop for eight years now. The flexibility it has added to my ability to operate from client and other locations is a great bonus having previously switched to a paperless filing system. It means that all documents and programs can be accessed from wherever I am and certain work can more easily be undertaken on site rather than having to wait to return to base. This flexibility of access has also enabled me to take an extended holidays as I am able to keep on top of urgent matters from abroad whilst still having access to all documents required, something as a sole trader I previously found restricting. Over the years there have been very few problems with the availability and operation of the hosted desktop service and any issues that have arisen have been speedily sorted out by the support team. The service also means that I do not have to continually worry about a hardware crash at my end causing an interruption to my business. Should the desktop have a problem then I can just switch to the laptop or another PC and continue to operate whilst the other issue is resolved. In addition there is the added assurance of all documents and programs being backed up on a regular basis without my having to spend time or worrying about that either. I have found the Cloud4 hosted desktop very good and have no hesitation in recommending them to somebody looking for such a service. Phil
