Niche software categories are where Serchen starts to show its limits. Six months in as a solo consultant, I've found the directory solid for mainstream tools but noticeably thin once you stray into specialist verticals. Filtering by very specific use cases can return oddly broad results, and a handful of listings feel outdated.
That said, the visibility I've gained for my own clients' listings has been real and measurable. The analytics dashboard is cleaner than I expected, and the review collection process is straightforward. Worth it for the audience quality, just go in knowing the edge cases.
