Five-plus years into this, and the integrations story is still the part that keeps me up at night. SGNL connects reasonably well with AWS and Azure, which covers a lot of ground, but our Salesforce instance and a couple of legacy on-prem systems we rely on for grant management have always been awkward. Mapping business context into policies for those endpoints took months of back-and-forth with their support team, and I can't say the documentation made it easier. For a non-profit environment where IT headcount is thin, that lift is real.
That said, the Zero Standing Privilege model is genuinely sound, and once integrations are stable they stay stable. The policy reuse feature has saved my small team a lot of repetitive configuration work. Customer service has improved noticeably over the years, even if response times still feel stretched during incidents. At the price point, I find myself questioning whether a mid-market education org gets the same attention a big finance client does. Useful product. Not frictionless.
