Twelve months ago I was the only person who touched our data models. Now there are seven of us, and Cube hasn't so much as flinched at the growth. That's the thing I keep coming back to. Onboarding new engineers used to mean a week of hand-holding through a rats' nest of undocumented SQL. With a shared semantic layer sitting in the middle of everything, new team members pick up context fast. The access control is granular enough that I'm not nervous about junior analysts poking around in production, which was a genuine worry before.
