The connector library is what pulled me in, and about six weeks of solo work later, it's still the thing I keep coming back to. I'm talking 300-plus pre-built connectors, and they actually work. I tested connections to a Google Sheets source, a REST API I use for a client project, and a Snowflake destination, all in one afternoon. No custom scripting, no head-scratching documentation loops. The Snowflake integration specifically is tight. Transformations push cleanly, and the virtual layer means I can query without moving data every single time, which matters a lot when you're paying cloud compute costs yourself.
That said, the learning curve on configuring more complex pipelines isn't trivial. The UI makes simple connections easy, but once I started chaining transformations with conditional logic, I had to dig through support docs that felt a little thin. Customer service responded, but not fast. For a freelancer without a backup team, that waiting period stings. Still, for the breadth of what this platform does at this price point, I'm genuinely satisfied.
