The custom sales pipeline is the thing I keep coming back to after three-plus years of daily use as a solo operator. Not just the visual layout, though that's clean enough. What I mean is the ability to define my own stages, attach tasks to specific milestones, and set reminders that actually match how I sell rather than how some product team assumed I would. Early on I built a six-stage pipeline for a long-cycle consulting engagement, with checklists and follow-up prompts at each step. It still runs without me having to think about it, which is genuinely useful when you're wearing every hat yourself.
My one gripe is that milestone-level automation could go deeper. I can trigger a task reminder, sure, but if I want to auto-send a templated follow-up or push a contact to a different pipeline based on an outcome, I'm doing that manually. Transpond partially fills the gap, but it feels like a separate product rather than something truly baked in. For the price point though, and for a freelancer managing a moderate client load, Capsule earns its keep.
