Switched from a clunky legacy ATS about five years ago and the difference was immediate. Candidate Manager actually surfaces the right applicants instead of burying them in folders. The pipeline views are clean, requisition tracking is straightforward, and my recruiting coordinators stopped complaining within the first month. Coming from a tool that required three workarounds just to schedule an interview, that alone felt like a relief.
The one gripe: reporting customization is still limited. I often have to export to a spreadsheet to slice data the way leadership wants it. Not a dealbreaker after five years, but a real gap.
