Integrations were the make-or-break question for me before committing to Orion. A small operation like ours runs on a patchwork of tools, and the last thing I needed was another silo. Two years in, I can say Orion handles connections to our shipping platform and compliance reporting tools better than I expected. Getting those feeds to talk to each other cut a lot of manual data entry out of my week. Their support team walked me through the setup without making me feel like I was asking stupid questions, which matters when your IT department is just you and one other person.
That said, the QuickBooks sync is the one area that still gives me headaches. It works, but reconciliation occasionally throws up mismatches that I have to chase down by hand. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Everything else, the inventory tracking and DTC order management especially, slots into the workflow without much fuss. For a small winery that needs real integration depth rather than a pretty dashboard, Orion is worth a serious look.
