The UI is genuinely a pleasure to navigate. Managing compliance across a dozen client accounts could be a nightmare, but Avalara keeps everything organized in a way that actually makes sense day-to-day. Two years in, and I still find the dashboard layout intuitive, not cluttered. CertCapture in particular handles exemption certificates without making me hunt through menus.
Customer service response times could tighten up a little, but the product itself earns the praise. If you're running tax work for multiple clients, the clean interface alone saves real headaches.
