Honest verdict: Attio is genuinely impressive for one or two people, but the cracks start showing when you try to grow into it. My team doubled in size over the past six months, and getting a dozen new hires oriented in Attio has been more friction than I expected. Custom objects and relational data are legitimately powerful features, and the interface is clean enough that people don't dread opening it. Automations have saved real time in our pipeline tracking. Those parts I'll defend.
The problem is permissions and role management. For a team this size, the controls feel underdeveloped. Keeping new account executives from accidentally overwriting shared records or mucking with workspace settings requires workarounds that shouldn't exist at this price point. Customer support has been responsive but mostly pointed me to documentation that's a few product versions behind. I'd revisit Attio when they mature the admin tooling. Right now it's a great solo or small-team CRM that's still figuring out what it wants to be at scale.
