Integrations are what sold me on BambooHR three years ago, and they're still the main reason I keep recommending it to clients. Running HR for multiple businesses at once means I need the platform to talk cleanly to payroll providers, Slack, and the various project tools each client already has baked into their workflow. BambooHR handles that better than anything else I've put in front of a client. The API is well-documented, the native connectors are mostly reliable, and when something needs custom plumbing, their support team has always been responsive about pointing me in the right direction.
My one gripe is that the integration marketplace feels a bit uneven. A few connectors that clients rely on are still listed as beta after what feels like forever, and occasionally they drop data in ways that require manual checking. Nothing catastrophic, but it adds a small overhead I'd rather not have. For any agency managing HR on behalf of clients with varied tech stacks, though, this is honestly the most connectable platform I've found at this price point.
