The alert threshold configuration inside Caverntechnologies is the feature I keep coming back to. You can set layered conditions, not just a single trip-wire, so when our air quality sensors push data in, I get notified only when two or three parameters breach their limits simultaneously. That specificity matters for a small non-profit like ours. False alarms used to eat up hours of staff time every week. Since I started using this about six months ago, those unnecessary escalations have dropped sharply. The sensor mapping interface is intuitive once you get past the initial setup, and the data export to CSV plays nicely with the reporting templates my team already uses for grant documentation.
The one gripe I have is with customer support response times. Email tickets can sit for two or three days before I hear anything back, which feels slow when you are trying to configure a new monitoring node before a board presentation. A live chat option would fix that. Still, the platform itself delivers what it promises, and for an education-adjacent organization on a tight budget, the value is genuinely hard to argue with.
