Admin configuration in most public-sector tools is a nightmare. Role-based permissions either lock you out of things you need or give everyone the keys to the kingdom. Trellyz actually got this right. Granular permission settings let me control exactly what each user type can see and do, and standing up new user groups takes minutes, not days. Three years of department restructures, staff turnover, and jurisdictional changes, and I've never had to put in a support ticket just to move someone between roles. The config panel is laid out logically, which sounds obvious but almost never is.
What really earned my trust over time is how stable the permission architecture stays across updates. Some platforms push a release and suddenly half your custom roles behave differently. Trellyz has never done that to me. Customer service is responsive when I do have questions, though honestly the documentation covers most scenarios already. For a department coordinating across multiple agencies and nonprofit partners, having clean access control is not optional. This tool delivers it.
