Two years in, and the calendar sync is still the thing I mention every time someone on the team asks how I keep everything from falling apart. PodKeeper connects straight to Google Calendar and iCal without fuss, which matters a lot when you're coordinating a group where half the parents live in their Apple ecosystem and the rest are on Google. Sign-up lists feed into reminders, reminders land in the calendar, and nobody misses a slot. That flow alone saved me from writing endless follow-up emails.
The file and photo storage is a nice bonus, but honestly it's the integrations that carry the whole experience. Every Monday I check the shared Pod view and everything is exactly where I left it, synced across devices. My only minor gripe is that the mobile interface can feel a touch slow when uploading photos on a patchy connection. Small thing. For a free tool that plugs this cleanly into the apps my group already uses, the value is genuinely hard to argue with.
