XLWEB was founded as a freelance consultancy seven years ago by James McInally due to his knowledge of all things web and marketing. James is an expert marketer in online and offline marketing and his knowledge of marketing combined with technology is genuine and rare. Work has grown over the years and James now undertakes XLWEB full-time.

James spent 12 years at the University of the West of Scotland, overseeing all of the University’s internal and external websites as well as undertaking hundreds of offline marketing activities including producing hundreds of printed materials, public relations, advertising, events and market research. He’s taught website design and marketing and trained many people in online marketing skills for business. He’s worked for one of the best search marketing agencies in the UK as SEO Marketing Manager at Hobo Web and has consulted on hundreds of web and marketing projects over the years.

James undertakes strategic planning of websites and online marketing projects and is a specialist at small business growth online.
