Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Webhostpython has a sharply divided reputation split along a clear timeline: prior to acquisition versus after sale to World Host Group.
The majority of reviews (17 out of 22) are glowing five-star ratings praising responsive support, fast server speeds, and affordable pricing. Users consistently highlight quick ticket response times (often under 15 minutes), willingness to go beyond standard support, and a personal touch from the owner James and his team. Several long-term customers explicitly state the service quality has remained strong, and many compare it favourably to larger competitors like GoDaddy and HostGator.
However, the five negative reviews paint a starkly different picture, all citing serious problems after the buyout by World Host Group. These customers report prolonged outages lasting hours, support response times of 8+ hours, price increases around 60%, and a general collapse in service quality. They describe the pattern as typical for EIG-style acquisition companies: buying successful smaller hosts then cutting costs, ignoring uptime issues, and letting support deteriorate. The timing is conspicuousβall praise comes from reviews explicitly dated pre-sale, while recent complaints follow the ownership change.
For prospective buyers, this represents a company in transition. If the acquisition reviews reflect current conditions, uptime reliability and support responsiveness have deteriorated significantly.

Forfashion.tvβI can't think of a greater company to host myβ¦β
I can't think of a greater company to host my site with. Their service is simply outstanding. You'll never achieve 100% uptime no matter where you go, also due to things your hosting company has no influence on (although their 99.99% uptime guarantee is not just sales speech), but what I like the most is that in the very rare circumstances when something isn't right their service is extremely fast, reliable and professional. And that's very hard to find. Their IT guru Steve is a true gem. And the one time he made a mistake (just because he was overly protective and rebooted my server in vain as he suspected a hacker attack which lead to my site's being down for seconds) he was completely honest instead of telling a lie (which he completely could have done as he knows I'm not a geek). Furthermore they never tried to sell me anything I didn't need at that time (even when I specifically asked for it). Long story short, they're highly professional, absolutely honest and very reasonably priced.

Miguelvlandscaping.comβI have owned a small lawn care business for 4β¦β
I have owned a small lawn care business for 4 years now. I been with Webhostpython for few months now and had to find a place to give a review because they really deserve it. They've done everything to get me right and have taken care of me. They've even helped with things outside hosting like ordering business cards, setting up emails. I love the support. I've kept the team on the phone for hours, and felt bad about it. But they always let me know it's OK. For all of their hardwork, and commitment, they deserve this. I give them A.
