Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
TryMyUI is consistently praised for reliable payouts and straightforward testing work, though user experience varies significantly by role and expectations.
Testers appreciate that payments arrive promptly (often within a week) and that test quality is maintained through reviewer fairness. The pay rateβroughly $10 for 15 minutesβis frequently cited as competitive. However, several recurring frustrations emerge. Test availability is limited, with users reporting they can go days without qualifying tests; those who take too many tests weekly face payment delays and temporary suspension from desktop testing. The tester-tester competition to claim tests first creates friction. Customer rejections appear arbitrary to some reviewers, and email support is slow or unresponsive, though payment disputes do eventually get resolved.
A smaller group reports significant problems: technical failures on Mac devices, poorly designed tests that are difficult to complete, and what they perceive as unfair rejections with minimal explanation. One tester documented a high rejection rate despite good-faith effort and mentioned considering legal action. A few reviews are incoherent or off-topic, making overall sentiment hard to parse.
The service works best for testers who are selective about which tests they accept, communicate requirements clearly, and maintain realistic expectations about frequency and support responsiveness. Those seeking high volume or dedicated customer service will likely be disappointed.

βI have read so many negative reviews here and decidedβ¦β
I have read so many negative reviews here and decided to give my honest opinion about this app for TESTERS not clients. here are some of the points I summed up about the site. 1- testers support. you cannot talk to someone by phone, the only way is to use email to get your feedback but they will NOT answer, if it's about payment delay, they will process it without replying back. 2- MAKING money if you make over $200 a week you will get delay in payment and you will be blocked from doing desktop tests for at least 2 weeks, however they DO PAY, they are not scammers like some claimed here. 3- Tests reviewers : the reviewers are fast and they are fair, they listen to the test and make sure you abide by the rules, if you do not say in the beginning why you meet a test , you will be automatically rejected ,so you need to say in details why you meet the requirements. 4- Clients ratings: clients are sadly very unfair to testers and will give 1 rating and reject your test and it will affect your score and will likely NOT get tests. 5- overall opinion: if you want to keep getting tests, don't take all available tests, just keep your rate to 2 tests per week or 3 at most. conclusion: do not depend on this job as a source of income, it's unstable.

βThe tests are few and far between, but when youβ¦β
The tests are few and far between, but when you get one, they pay consistently. I registered about a month ago and in that time have only had 5 tests that I qualified for. The upside is, when you finally see a test you qualify for, and complete it, they pay quicker than most competitors. I wish there were more opportunities, but I have zero complaints about how they are conducted or how they are paid out. Decent company, just needs more market coverage.

βI just finished the trial test. I didn't see anythingβ¦β
I just finished the trial test. I didn't see anything saying that it won't work on a mac, so I moved forward. But the file you download for the test, didn't work. I even downloaded it a couple times, thinking maybe there was something wrong with it. I'm guessing that was supposed to be the website we look at for the answers? All that appeared was a skinny, vertical, gray box - no website, no pictures, no words, etc., just a light gray box. So I wasn't able to complete any of the tasks. But now, here's the kicker: After not being able to complete any tasks, I received an email saying congratulations, I received a 5 out of 5, which is the maximum score (most likely a generic response). I'm going to look more into it, but there doesn't appear to be much you have to do to qualify or pass the test.

βI have thoroughly enjoyed doing user tests for TryMyUI. Theβ¦β
I have thoroughly enjoyed doing user tests for TryMyUI. The tests are simply yet enjoyable, and they pay very well ($10 for a 15 minute test.) I see some complaints on here about being rejected - I actually like that they only accept good testers. It keeps their quality up and makes sure they're only giving money to people who are trying hard. I have done two tests since I started, and they were both paid fairly promptly via PayPal. The first one was paid within a week-and-a-half, and the second one within four days. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there were more tests. You can go several days without getting one. However, they do make sure that if you haven't gotten a test in a while you are the first to be notified when one is available for your demographic. Overall, nice service and a good way to earn some extra cash.
