Sibername has always been there for me for many years. Any problem is quickly responded to and fixed much better than their future owners, Web Hosting Canada, which kept me on the chat line for over an hour to finally give me a link back to Sibername, who answered my question in 3 minutes. WOW!

For more than 5 years I was with them for most of my customer's website and email needs, and in these 5 years, the service and product continually went down. Server error, email error, double invoicing, double charging the credit card, my website down for days...not hours, and so many others.

They offer a tool called Weebly (App to help you built your web page) they charge $$ for this service but do yourself a favor, keep it simple ...they will screw it up and will have very little help if none at all. I have lost hours fixing issues they couldn't, redoing the page differently.

Transferring your domain takes 24h to 48h if you give them a good reason or good comment, 7 to 10 days if you tell them they're not doing a good job. That is base on 4 domain transfers with them. The first 3 went really fast under 24h, because I lied and told them it was a customer decision. On the last one, I told them the real reason I was moving out of their server. I received this answer "The process may take up to a week!"

My worst was in December 2020 it took them 11 days to find out why my website was not showing to more than 80% of my customers, Their response was "Well it's working here" until they decide to switch the server. And then, I couldn't change anything on my webpage as the changes were for the old server...so I couldn't update my page.

Don't believe the chat room, it says "response is immediate" not true...far from it. Technical service is a little faster with email but...very cryptic and you often have to explain yourself with 2 or 3 responses before you get some result.

There interface for managing your product needs work. Not the best user-friendly interface I have seen, with lots of "going in circle".

The site is horribly over priced and its terribly not worth the effort. or money. Way too expensive. they charge for what one can get from weebly for free.

Originally, I gave Sibername a 5 star review for their customer service...but left no specific details. Today - Jan 28, 2019 - I wanted to return to relate a specific story.

Recently, I made a domain switch for my wife's interior design business from www.robband.co to www.robbandcompany.com . This switch necessitated and email switch as well. This is where my problems began. In addition to the domain switch, we decided to switch email from Office 365 Outlook to G-Suite Gmail....and after speaking with both Microsoft, Google and Sibername, we were assured how the change-over would be swift, painless and that all emails sent to the old robband.co email would be forwarded to the new robbandcompany.com Gmail.

Sadly, once I initiated the switch, the email forwarding didn't work. And being only semi-literate when it comes to this stuff, I contacted all 3 involved parties (Sibername hosts our domains).

Google gave me useless advice to check out different webpages, ignoring how my wife's business could be impacted by missed emails.

Outlook gave me useless advice until they decided to completely stop responding to my questions. Needless to say, my opinion on Microsoft support is not exactly positive.

Sibername, on the other hand, stuck with me over the course of 3 days, trying all sorts of technical fixes until finally, last night...everything started working perfectly.

I can't say enough about the support techs at Sibername who helped me with this problem. Unlike the Microsoft & Google people, they kept working to find a solution until a solution was found.

In case this review is looked at by SIbername execs, I am leaving the support ticket number so the support staff who helped me can be recognized for their great work.
