Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Prognocis is a cloud-based EMR that users consistently praise for accessibility, affordability, and growth potential. Users across practice sizesβfrom solo practitioners to multi-location operationsβvalue its ease of use, responsive support, and quick implementation. The system scales well as practices expand and works across web and mobile platforms, which multiple reviewers highlight as practical for on-the-go charting and remote work. One user emphasized the convenience of cloud deployment when relocating a practice after 34 years, requiring no IT infrastructure migration.
The main limitation users mention is that customizations require technical support, which can become costly when practices need to make changes to fit their specific workflows. One reviewer also noted initial concerns about remote training, though their trainer ultimately proved excellent. Otherwise, feedback is notably strongβfour of five reviews are perfect ratings, with users consistently contrasting Prognocis favorably against competitors on cost, reliability, and vendor stability. The system appears to work well for small to mid-sized practices, particularly those transitioning from paper or expensive on-premises systems.

βAdaptable Prognocis EMRβ Overall: Have no comparison in developing software, but did not seem to have difficulty with my IT and the growth of the EMR with my pratice. Pros: Started my medical practice with Prognocis. One of first on east coast in Maryland. Started very small , and have grown the practice several fold. Prognocis has grown with the practice and has evoled with the changes demanded with the electronic medical record industry. Cons: Some changes are hard to make without the technical support of Prognocis. Sometimes with these changes, it becomes costly.

It is easy to use. The entire team including support and billing are very accessible and quick to respond to any concerns. It is easily customized and is cost-effective especially for a small medical practice. I was worried in the beginning because the training was not done on-site, but the person who trained me was wonderful and very accessible, and responsive to my needs which made it much easier than I had anticipated.

I have used PrognoCIS for almost 9month and I find a reason to praise it. You see with this software, We utilize both their web EM versatile EMR, and Revenue Cycle Management, WhiteCoat offers restorative home visits by means of our patient web stage where patients can use to make arrangement demands. We utilize bot web EMR and the portable application EMR. utilize the web EMR for electronic remedies when there should be increasingly nitty-gritty diagramming, however, the portable application EMR, which is an iPhone application is likewise associated with the web EMR, is basically utilized by our suppliers to outline while in a hurry on their iPhone or iPad.

Just to note this is our 3rd EMR system and by far better then the others. After spending a large amount of money on "in office" servers, technical support contracts, maintenance. We were at wits end, and finally at the end of the contract. This system was recommended to us and within 3 months we were up and running and able to cancel the other, without missing a beat at a much lower cost. One more thing, we just moved our practice after 34 years, the convenience of only having to plug in our computers and log on was GREAT!! no IT techs or moving installers needed to bring EMR online. BEST MOVE WE EVER MADE.

My name is Dr. Roberto E. Puente, DPM, I own and operate a small solo, but very busy, long-term care podiatry practice that has been using PrognoCIS since July 2011. so when we decided to go paperless and started to shop around for an EMR system, it became very clear to us that a cloud or web-based system was the way to go. After reviewing many systems, and taking many demos, we decided to go with PrognoCIS because it seemed like a very user-friendly system, with adequate and knowledgeable support staff, and very affordable when compared with other systems in the market at that time. After over two years of using the system, let me tell you that it has been the single best decision that my practice has made! It has proven to be everything that we expected from an EMR and more!! Other colleagues opted for specialty-specific, much more expensive systems, only to find themselves abandoned after the company closed or sold, and were left without reliable tech support.
