Hits the mark for some features, documentation could be better. I'm implementing MF for various company needs and have found much of MF very helpful. I'll mention a few concepts I hope they will develop solutions for: Import value lists, allow common views to be organized into something other one long list of common views, provide much more detail documentation on workflows allows us to better organize files.

Feature packed product for a low price entry point. We reviewed many software providers before deciding on M-Files and it was a choice based on features, support and value for money. M-Files has become a valuable tool in our organisation. The ability to customise almost everything from the way it looks to the way it functions with workflows has really allowed us to solve a lot of issues we had with storing and retrieving our important documents and information. M-Files comes as a blank canvas, so it is important to look at the sample vault and then work with your channel partner to plan your deployment, but as you start to use it, you realise more and more that it can do. I would recommend this to any business looking to implement a DMS Easy to store information and allocate access to particular user groups. Able to customise look. Workflows are good.

Great flexibility to streamline our processes and information management We've recently implemented M-Files. It's very flexible and has made huge improvement to the way we manage our information and processes. It's easy to use but as with every new system it takes some a bit longer to get used to. The user guides are pretty minimal, especially from an administration perspective and there is not a dedicated support team that can help with queries. You are relying on the community of users (who are general very responsive and generous but may not necessarily respond to every query). It is good value for money but for a small charity like ours it's a huge investment but I am glad that we made it. Flexibility, the ability to customise it exactly to your organisation's need.
