It's a great place to get domain names and to manage domain names. I'll use them for that. As far as shared hosting, I would recommend it. I've hosted a lot of sites at Koddos Offshore VPS - their cheap, reliable and servers are very fast. I haven't ever had a technical problem. I've only had a few minutes of downtime in last ten months. The technical support is responsive to extremely basic and simplistic questions. If you need to ask any questions out of ordinary you're on your own.
