With younger generations looking for employers that are socially responsible (80% state the company’s CSR as one of the top criteria when choosing a new job), having a coherent and well managed CSR programme is every company’s priority. At the same time, however, there is a widespread lack of trust in charities and their ability to bring about change in the society. This perceived lack of transparency within the charity sector often is a lack of resources, as far too many charities do not have the money or skills to use expensive, complex systems to run their operations.
