Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Halligan's inspection checklist builder earns strong loyalty through its conditional logic and field usability, though reporting could be streamlined.
This single five-star review comes from a nonprofit facilities manager with five years of daily use across diverse equipment. They credit the product's ability to build layered, conditional checklists — where technician responses trigger follow-up questions or auto-flag repairs — as the core reason for year-after-year renewal. They've deployed it across HVAC, fire suppression, kitchen, and accessibility systems. The mobile interface and embedded instructions have noticeably reduced staff onboarding friction and back-and-forth questions.
The reviewer does acknowledge that reporting could use work, specifically noting that pulling custom reports requires more clicks than ideal. However, this gap is mentioned briefly and doesn't dent their overall satisfaction. With only one review available, this summary reflects a single user's experience rather than a broader market consensus.

“The inspection checklist builder is the reason I keep renewing,…”
The inspection checklist builder is the reason I keep renewing, year after year, and I want to be specific about why. Most tools give you a generic form and call it done. Vector Check It lets me build layered, conditional checklists where a technician's answer on one item can surface a follow-up question or automatically flag a priority repair. Running facilities for a mid-sized nonprofit, I have equipment spread across multiple buildings, different age ranges, wildly inconsistent maintenance histories. That conditional logic has saved my team from missing critical issues that a flat form would have buried.
Five-plus years of daily use means I've pushed this feature hard. I've built checklists for HVAC units, fire suppression systems, kitchen equipment, accessibility lifts, you name it. The mobile interface holds up well in the field. Technicians aren't coming back to me with questions about what a checklist item means, because I can embed instructions and photos right into each step. That alone cut the back-and-forth in half when we onboarded new staff last fall.
If I'm being honest about the gaps, the reporting side could use some work. Pulling custom reports takes more clicks than it should, and exporting data to share with our board or funders feels clunky. Customer service has always been responsive when I've needed them, though response times can vary depending on the day. For a nonprofit budget, the value is genuinely strong. I'm not sure I'd swap it for anything else at this point. If you manage facilities across multiple sites and need inspection logic that actually matches real-world complexity, this is worth a serious look.
