I'm using GantPro to track my PhD dissertation progress. I am able to plan ahead for delays, such as advisors taking time to review drafts and the university’s typical bureaucracy. I like that I can add in the firm due dates for subtasks, showing me how much finishing a draft early can buy me more time for a harder task later on. I’m able to firmly say whether or not I am on track for my goal graduation date and don’t have to have lingering stress about the project during my down time.
