Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
DSmenu has moved to a costly subscription model that users see as poor value compared to its original offering. The reviewer paid over $100 annually for a single menuboard, a sharp shift from the flat-fee structure that once allowed dozens of boards for $99. A surprise $90 storage fee during renewal added to frustration, making the total cost comparable to keeping the board active in the first place. The reviewer characterizes the service as a scam and is switching to alternatives, citing lack of user-friendliness as an additional concern.

DsMenu started out as a fantastic service where you paid a flat fee to be able to create a certain number of menuboards, I believe it was something like 199 menuboards for $99. As of today, you pay over $100 for a yearly subscription for 1 Menuboard. Whatever, I get that. During an attempt to renew an activation for a seasonal menuboard, I was charged a $90 storage fee, basically the same amount that it would've cost to keep the menuboard active. DsMenu is a scam, and there are plenty of other user friendly options that I will be exploring.
