Beam Software is a full functioning Receivables Management system with powerful inventory management tools including the ability to manage placements from clients, and placements out to sub-agencies and attorneys. The system includes a full contact management solution for collection staff, and balance maintenance that includes promise tracking and automated postdate processing. The name “Beam” comes from Star Trek where accounts can be insourced from (Beamed in) or outsourced (Beamed out) to other Beam companies within seconds using drag-and-drop—“Energize!”. Beam also has a robust Debt Buyer module to manage portfolio acquisitions. This is particularly useful when you use investors to purchase portfolios. This module includes stages of repatriation of investor funds so that you keep a bigger percentage of liquidation dollars as you return basis to the investors.
