THE best hosting company.

We've been with Cloudabove since 2012 and can not fault the level of service they have given us.

In the past we had our own servers in a datacentre so truly appreciate how hard it can be keep hosting customers happy. I can count on one hand the times since 2012 we have had a "outage". When we contacted the team they were already on it and with in minutes everything came back up!

One client we had, a Hotel Chain received all their bookings via email, so availability of their email system was key to their business. We had no concerns in using a coludabove. Unlike the expensive "big named" supplier they used before, the cloudabove server NEVER went down.

It's not very often people get around to leaving positive reviews but if there is a hosting provider worthy of 5 stars, then it is definitely CloudAbove. We have trusted them with providing a rock solid platform for client websites we produce. They can provide a huge range of hosting and associated services, but above all their customer support is far and away the best we have experienced. Highly responsive and very good at what they do, we can highly recommend CloudAbove.

I have been with Cloudabove for a few years now and they never ever stop amazing me, questions are answered very quickly and efficiently, i am a novice when it comes to working on web hosts etc... i have managed package and the team there, Ryan and Ashley are always glad to help, they've done everything for myself and my company, from setting up the webspace to fixing errors in our code / site settings.

I bumped into Ryan and Ashley on the interwebs many years ago, before they started CloudAbove (formally South West Broadband) and they were both extremely helpful to me despite not knowing me! Nothing has changed over the years, they always have been incredibly helpful.

I actually shared a server with them back then. They trusted me and I trusted them. I now use their services and rent my V.P.S.s and hosting from them as they are so good, they take all of the hassle out of hosting.

On top of all this, their prices are the best to my knowledge, certainly when you add in the flawless, bend over backwards help they give!

It's worth noting that they have a full five star rating here and for good reason.

Simply the best! Absolutely nothing bad to say about them, which is unheard of today.

Hopefully one day I will get to meet them! :-)

Cloudabove are AMAZING!
I had a couple of problems getting the DNS settings correct; Cloudabove looked into it, and respond to an email within a couple of hours, even on a Sunday! And if you get really stuck, you can call them and speak to a real person. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Cloudabove :)

The support from this company is absolutely brilliant! Ryan is really helpful and you can expect that they really want to get the job done, properly. Excellent support. I moved here having grown fed up with the utter lack of support I was getting from a certain well known large host and their clueless customer support based thousands of miles away, and I chose SWbroadband on the basis of the reviews here, which said that the support was good and they knew what they were doing. What can I say but fantastic service from day 1. We currently have 3 VPS packages with SouthWest Broadband for a variety of sites and web applications and are looking to take more in the future as more needs come on line. The support from the team is second to none, even out of business hours. A good case in point is that due to a faulty (self-installed) upgrade one of our VPS containers came off-line over a weekend, and the support team worked diligently recovering all data from the old environment and transferred it to a newly setup container over the course of a Sunday afternoon. That's the kind of service that keeps customers coming back for more.

I transferred from 123 Reg which had become painfully slow and unresponsive to Southwest Broadband after reading so many positive reviews. Thinking it would take a few days of back and forth I was surprised when in a few hours everything was done!

Their customer service and hosting is incredible. Not only are they lightening fast in their customer service. but also in their hosting. I've been kept informed and treated their efficiency has been fantastic.

I don't feel the need to write reviews often, but...

We recently ordered a managed server with SW Broadband and the support is the best I've ever seen in the industry with superb response times and very quick solutions (even of out hours!).

We have a complex international Magento multi-store installation which our old hosting couldn't handle. The migration to SW Broadband was quick and painless and nothing was too much trouble for Ryan and his team. Ryan went about setting the server up with our specific needs in mind, which is a nice personal touch.

As for the actual hosting, it is much faster and more reliable than our previous solution and everything just seems to work.

It's nice to know that if we ever have a problem they'll respond not only quickly but with a solution to the problem straight away.

I would have no hesitation in recommending SW Broadband to anyone who needs hosting and I will even be moving my personal server over to them very soon.

After putting up with another provider's poor customer service for years, I was also sceptical about going to a new provider I had never heard of after they found me via Twitter (tweeting complaint's to my old provider no less!).

I needn't have worried - Both Ryan and Ashley provide a first class experience with helpful and professional customer service 24/7. The lightning quick delivery of not one, but 2 servers both within 30 minutes complete with all my custom requirements makes these guys a real credit to the hosting industry. Having worked with a number of hosting companies in the past (including the big ones!) I had come to the conclusion that hosting was about as fun as going to the dentist. South West Broadband are the exception to the rule. Being a non-techie they completely remove the pain and look after you with service that is second to none. Seriously, don't use anyone else. If you don't use this firm stop, smack yourself in the face and wake up. I have been using Ryan and the team for 2 years now and i would never consider moving. The team are quick, responsive and super knowledgeable. The supports guys are always willing to help or instruct, and importantly always looking to sort the problem promptly.

These guys never fail to amaze and delight us! We've been with SWB for over two years and the quality of their service and value-for-money is exceptional. They are so helpful - even when (as other reviewers have noted) the problem may not be of their making but rather because of something we have (or have not) done - they are always on hand to help out. I've been using South West Broadband since May 2013 after a recommendation from a friend, and I have been consistently impressed and delighted with their service and their commitment to great customer service.

My confidence in them is so high that I have since recommended them directly to a number of my clients who have all been similarly impressed and pleased.

Just started using South West Broadband after having poor service from another web host. Issues were mainly with speed of page loading.
After switching the site to South West Broadband the pages now load over 40x faster! Still on shared hosting.
Easy to use interface (cPanel) and very helpful staff.

I am the worlds worst person with a computer, they terrify me, I don't understand them at all and if at any time anything goes wrong I go into a blind panic. I changed to SWB after I had major hacking issues on my computer 18 months ago, I had to change passwords and I lost vital information. It was a worrying time.
I was recommended SWB, I can't remember who by, but it was someone I didn't know and it was on twitter. But it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Why are they so good? Well, there is a human at the end of the phone, always. Someone who listens and always talks me through any issues I have (none of which is due to their hosting issues btw). They are always kind, caring and listen, at the end of every phone call my blood pressure drops and I can get on with my business. For me, a small business owner, this is vital. I don't want a huge company being thrown from pillar to post adding to any frustration.
South West Broadband are the best, they are reliable, helpful and incredible value for money, but most of all I use the word support, their support is second to none.
Don't even consider another hosting company, just go with SWB.

The service that these guys offer is second to none! Everything you would need from a hosting company. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough and their continued help and quick responses make my life much easier.

At large hosting companies it’s hard to speak to real people with real in depth knowledge. This is not the case as SWB and all queries are actioned by trained professionals.

You should look no further for a hosting company!

First Class Company with a first class service.

I wanted to support a web host that was as local to me as possible and being as there was none based near me in Cardiff that could provide what I wanted SWB was the closest and I was not disappointed.

Their prices are reasonable and their service is nothing short of excellent and very clear about anything technical. Extremely approachable also.

I have recently run into an issue with my Wordpress installation and after looking on the WP Forums and seeing the trouble people were having with their web hosts I was a little reluctant to contact them. Especially as I had been using the service for over 2 years now and have been burnt by companies before who do not focus on Company retention.

I have to say that SWB were amazing, they diagnosed the problem very quickly and emailed personal and friendly updates every step of the way whilst fixing the problem.

I am very happy with this service and would not go with anyone else. Highly recommended - possibly one of the best companies I have dealt with :D

I moved to South West Broadband because my previous hosting provider had an unacceptable level of server downtime.

I am extremely happy with my choice, as SWB handled the transfer (30 sites) and kept me informed at every step along the way.

Since then - as everyone else attests - the support for technical issues is of the highest class.

What can I say, that people below have not said!? Truly amazing service and support. These guys have outstanding technical knowledge and a super quick response time.

The hosting setup I needed was a bit complicated but SW Broadband were not phased at all. In fact they set everything up in super quick time. They provide me with Wordpress hosting, but also Moodle hosting as part of the same package. All at a very reasonable cost.

Definitely the best hosting service I have ever used.

We moved to SWB last May now. We previously hosted our 80 Customers on one of the largest hosting companies globally. We've worked in IT for over 30 years and designing and hosting Business websites for over 9 years now so we know what we are talking about. Seeing as we had quite reasonable service, support and reliability from our existing hosting supplier moving was something we did with some nervousness and the driver behind it being more control and improved levels of reliability, support and quality of hosting. We need not of worried at all. The guys at SWB score a perfect 10 in all areas. Reliability and performance is faultless. Support is simply quite out of this world and we deal in Support every day and set very high expectation levels and SWB meet them, which is an enormous compliment and praise of the highest level. The responsiveness is second to none and the depth of experience and knowledge from the outset is just simply awesome. Then to top it off, the costs associated with offering this overall package are so competitive I would say you couldn't better them anywhere in the country. Simple as that. Highly recommended and our only regret about moving lock stock and barrel to SWB was we should have done it much much sooner. Keep up the great work guys.

I could not recommend South West Broadband more highly. I look after 3 community websites and I have now moved them all to SW Broadband. Our first one was the village website which was with one of the big American hosting agencies. Since moving to SW Broadband, we have had better speed, reliability and much, much cheaper costs. Ryan could not be more helpful when I need to change something. All in all, astonishing customer service.

But finally it is now up and running. I completed the re-direction without any hitches, so thank you for your precise information and direction as to what to do - and a very easy to follow control panel, it was nice to have something go so smoothly for a change.

We were redesigning a clients existing website just before Xmas 2013 and started to have lots of problems connecting to the Wordpress backend, viewing the site etc. Really slow response times and page loads, with frequent 'site unavailable'. A bit of googling revealed many customers of 123-reg (who were hosting the site), were having similar issues. I'd read about SW somewhere and heard good things so thought I'd try them. I asked them to migrate the whole website over to a Plus account (leaving DNS with 123-reg). A real person emailed me soon after the order was placed, asked a few questions and got the transfer underway. Within a couple of hours it was done and dusted. Site now ran/runs way faster and smoother with no load errors of delays. To sum up the Pros;
Great customer service
Good pricing
Great hosting speeds
Cons
They're Southerners! (I'm from Yorkshire)

Ever since we signed up with SW Broadband at the start of our business venture, we have been consistently impressed at the level and speed of customer service offered. In the early stages, they were really helpful advising us when we were in the process of building our website, and we felt they went the extra mile to help us, even when we wanted advice on things not strictly related to web hosting. As our site has grown, they've always been super-quick to respond to any queries, and they're also really proactive in contacting us about any potential problems before they occur. For example, when one of our blog posts went viral, they were extremely quick to advise us of bandwidth issues and immediately offered to help by temporarily increasing bandwidth to ensure our site stayed live. We're REALLY impressed with them and can't rate them highly enough!

These guys have been absolutely great - incredibly rapid response, and very clear and intuitive support. We had the rather messy task of having to rebrand our website, despite wanting to keep most of the data and design the same. Their help with migration, repointing our new domains to DNS and many other less-than-obvious procedures was quick and uncomplicated - they even replied to us past midnight on a Sunday evening! Customer service par exellence. Highly recommended.

Have had nothing but flawless service, always kept up to date on everything, prices are brilliant, and support is ace. I set up my Dad's company's website with swbroadband back in 2012 when they had just entered the market, I knew bare minimal about hosting. They guided me through and we're excellent at answering any of my queries and now I have my own website with them. The service has only gotten better since the beginning. Truly excellent.

From the first email to SWbroadband a couple of weeks ago to an email today, everything has been a great experience with them. In all honesty, I saw a review of them and even though it was a good review, I hadn't heard of them, or seen any adverts that show amazing graphics, and BS quotes from their customers, so I wasn't going to go with them. I emailed them just out of interest, and got a reply within an hour. It took a day for my previous hosting company to get back to me, always saying I haven't given them enough information, another day went past, and still not enough information. SWbroadband's help has been top class, and fast, and they actually get things done that they promise to do. FINALLY I feel happy with a hosting company. This sounds like a kitty cat advert - so must say something bad - they're based in the south of England and I'm from Yorkshire!

We moved our website hosting to SW Broadband last month after having lots of problems with 123-reg. The team were amazing and explained everything before we signed up. They discussed our needs and helped us every step of the way. They have responded in record time to any issues I have had. From the most complex to some really quite sill questions we have asked. They always answer in a professional manner and are most helpful. It's not often I feel the need to recommend any services but swBroadband are different. Their hosting is as good as anyone else's and their prices are competitive too. So far so good. But where they easily blow everyone else out of the water is with their support. I've needed to contact support many times over the 5 months I've been with them to ask for help. Every single time without fail they have not only got back to me within minutes but also got back to me solving my problem within 1 email. None of this 'can you try this...' Or 'wait a few days for something to update'. Just 100% results quicker than if I had my own IT dept on call! I've had experience with 6-7 hosting providers over the years and I can't recommend these people enough - they are streets ahead of anyone else.

I cannot praise this company enough. After dealing with other hosting companies in the past South West Broadband are a breath of fresh air. Absolutely excellent support - I have contacted their support twice in the last year and on both occasions have had an immediate solution. On one occasion, I've spoken to Ryan on the phone and he was incredibly helpful. Their domain management portal is uncluttered and straightforward to use and their prices are excellent. They have been incredibly helpful making sure that the transfer of my domains runs slowly, ensuring no disruptions with email or anything - I am so impressed. Well, what can I say! Times were tough for us back during the startup process. We were looking for a replacement VPS provider for one of our DNS servers. I was presented with a kind, but inviting tweet from a member of the team at SWB offering a trial of their services. Of course, being from the UK I accepted this offer, was then given a sweet deal which out performed the original server for the same price! I've been very happy with SWB, in fact I don't think I've ever had to contact them about any problems after the initial setup of the server. If you're looking for an honest, reliable provider for your services, don't go anywhere else. South West Broadband is the place to be.

South West broadband have been so helpful that it brings tears to my eyes. The service they provide is personal and friendly without being condescending. Their charges are reasonable especially in view of their excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone.
I have had to migrate one of my websites away from a hosting company who is closing down and knew I would not have to search for a suitable service to replace them. My previous experience with SW was my guarantee of trouble free redirection.

I've had many web hosts over the course of the last 5 years. After having been with a host using VPS' located on physical servers in the Planet Datacentre I finally decided to move all of my websites to the UK. I dealt very shortly with two separate web hosts before ending up on SWB's doorstep (so to speak). The service I have received has been unquestionably first class from people that know servers and web hosting. The network and servers have been consistently rock solid and every single query (often well beyond their contract) has been answered quickly. After dealing with so many bad web hosts it's genuinely a pleasure to deal with SWB in every respect. If all of that wasn't good enough, their prices are among the best as well! I'm going nowhere and SWB comes as my first choice recommendation to anyone looking for web hosting, virtual servers or dedicated servers. If you really want to feel like a valued customer rather than a number or statistic, I suggest you contact them as well.

After being messed around for the better part of a year with a previous provider, I reached out to twitter and asked for hosting recommendations. Several companies contacted me regarding what I was after and what they would offer, out of all of them, South West Broadband was the best one in both cost and matching my needs, yes they had a little service hiccup within the first 48 hours but it was out of their control (DDoS). I was offered a refund or the ability to cancel my term with them, I chose to stay on and a year later I have decided to renew for another 12 months. The staff are professional and courteous, they are willing to assist, even with the dumbest of questions and I would recommend South West Broadband to any clients who were looking for hosting.
